Karakoram is proud to introduce the next progression of our revolutionary Split30 Splitboard System- the Karakoram SL Binding. The Karakoram SL is a high performance backcountry tool designed to minimize weight while improving riding and touring performance of your splitboard. Designed from Carbon Fiber, Titanium, High Strength Aluminum Alloys, and Dupont Zytel, the SL weighs 200+ grams less than its baby brother. New features include a negative forward lean setting allowing you to lengthen your stride, a quick turn forward lean adjuster- rotate 90° to turn forward lean on and off, and a raised heelcup sidewall that furthers the integration between your boot and binding to increasing the power transferred from your boot to the edge of your ski. Tour further and ride bigger lines with the KarakoramSL.

Removes all excess material to reduce weight
Wide contact points improve responsiveness between bindings and board
CNC machined parts have all unnecessary material removed to create the lightest splitboard binding available
Heel Lever
Quick Release lever allows for quick and easy attachment or removal of binding to the Ride Mode Interface
Ride Mode Interface
Five attachment points create solid connection between binding and Ride Mode Interface
Heel stay pins push through attachment loops driving snow and ice build-up out of the way
Wide openings of attachment loops allow for easy alignment
Tour Mode Axle System
The Tour Mode Axle System has independent sleeves that rotate freely on a fixed through axle (similar to a bike axle) for the stiffest and smoothest touring pivot
Tour Mode Interface
Wide support cradle increases tour mode rigidity
Offset cradle allows snow to clear during entry
Tour Mode clip locks Tour Mode Axle System in cradle for the most secure touring connection possible
Quick release touring bracket allows for quickest and simplest transition
No removable parts ensures you won’t lose any key components
